Shikai
Shikai is the first sword-release form available to Soul Reaper players in Peroxide. Inspired by the Bleach universe, Shikai awakens the spirit within your Zanpakuto and grants powerful elemental abilities. It is the foundation of all Soul Reaper combat and the prerequisite for eventually unlocking Bankai.

How to Obtain
- Be at least level 15 as a Soul Reaper.
- Press N to begin meditating.
- During meditation, collect 60 orbs that appear around you.
- After orb collection, battle a series of opponents: Rogue Shinigami, Guard Soul Reapers, and Menos-class or higher Hollows.
- Survive the trial and Shikai is permanently unlocked.
Activation
- In combat, deal damage to fill the gauge on the right side of your screen.
- Once the gauge reaches at least 20%, press G to release Shikai.
- Higher ranks slow the drain rate; reaching B rank allows infinite Shikai use (gauge drains to 0% but stays active).

Notes
- Each player receives a randomly assigned Shikai element — some are rarer and more powerful than others.
- Shikai is required before you can pursue Bankai (minimum level 85 required for Bankai).
- You can train Shikai proficiency to increase gauge duration and reduce drain rate.
- Soul Reapers who also unlock Vizard can use Shikai and the Hollow Mask simultaneously for hybrid power.
